The firm began in the year 1996, when Dr. José Francisco Appleyard, with a 25 year career in the Judicial Branch, decides to realize a dream, motivated by a love for the profession, and a belief, which also forms part of the firm's ideological groundwork, that justice is the road, and law is the instrument.

Thus a project is started, one that is ever more consolidated, with new members, an infrastructure that is constantly expanding to fulfill today's needs, and with legal services in different areas and top personalized attention and in different languages, as today's globalized world demands it.
